If you have a fairly high credit score, do an Internet search for lowest personal advance rates. You will get hundreds of listings for financial institutions with their rates that you can consider. Look into the loan and application fees. Many of these are not as pronounced as the low interest rates might be. Find out if there is any early pay off fees. Also find out what the penalties are for each day you are late with a payment. You may not think this is important now, but when the time comes that you are late, you may be in for a big surprise. Some institutions don’t put this in bold print but they will charge you so much for each day you’re late, that you could end up paying twice your regular payment for the month.
